On the cusp of something ...

I have just started delving into the world of Arduino microcontrollers. Very fun stuff, but I quickly realized what place these boards will have in my robot master-plan -- body part controllers, linked via a smarter faster master controller or SBC board. General goal is to, by the end of 2010 have a bot that can roll, walk, direct streaming web cam, and be remotely controlled via an iPhone app OR go into autonomous recon mode.

We shall see ... next post the general bot's mechanical rough design.
